Thanks, Elbow. That would explain it, as it was indeed the vocal harmonies on Rider that had me wondering whether there was any difference between the two versions. Did you get a sense from the interview whether it was just a few occasional uses of the overdubs but that the new set is mostly the real vocals? And flubs or no, I wish they had used the real vocals throughout. They are concert recordings, after all.

EDIT: Just listened to the mp3. Fascinating that I happened to pick a pair of tracks that had some real and some overdubbed vocals. Nice to hear Norman say that whenever real vocals were still on the tapes and usable, they were used. Would be nice to get an accounting eventually of when that wasn't the case.

They did the same thing with the Eyes on Without a Net. I had that 3-29-90 Nassau 1st gen tape soon after the show. When Without a Net came out I noticed first time listening to vocal harmonies on Eyes.
